'Villa Taranto' is a linearilobum with leaves that open orange-red, turning green with purple-red bronzing in summer.  Fall colors are yellow and orange.  This maple was named after the Villa Taranto in Italy where it was found.  It was originally propagated and introduced in Holland.  Villa Taranto makes a wonderful addition to any partly shaded garden.  It grows to 6 feet in ten years.
