Acer palmatum Aisime nishiki

‘Aisime nishiki’ originally came from the garden of Dennis Dodge.  I think the maple was originally ‘Aizumi nishiki’ and left the garden mislabeled as “Aisime nishiki”.  After observation, I decided to leave the name.  ‘Aisime nishiki’ is more variegated than ‘Aizumi nishiki’ especially in the young stages.  This maple is extremely colorful.  It should reach 5 feet in ten years.
