‘Aka ji bushi’ is a brand new variety from John Altyn. He found this seedling interesting, evaluated it, and named it ‘Aka ji bushi’ which translates to “Red Temple Warrior.” This maple has green leaves edged in red. Some lobes will twist, and some will randomly point downwards.
