‘Alan’s Gold’ has leaves that emerge a bright orange and turn golden chartreuse. Its bark will start to turn piney in its 3rd or 4th year. Fall colors are lemon-yellow to red. May reach 12 feet in ten years. Introduced by Pat McCracken. Also known as ‘Allen’s Gold’.
