Acer palmatum Fireglow

‘Fireglow’ is a vigorous upright maple with leaves that emerge a pinkish red.  Summer color is deep red and holds well in hot sun with minimal burn.  Fall foliage is more of a purplish red.  ‘Fireglow’ was selected and developed by Fratelli Gilardelli Nursery in Italy.  Its name reflects the spectacular effect of the leaves when backlit by the sun.  This maple can grow to 12 feet in full sun or partial shade.
