Acer palmatum Mai mori

‘Mai mori’ is an unstable variegate with random patches of yellow and white.  Frequent prunings of reverted branches will keep the variegations.  As with other variegates, over-fertilization may make ‘Mai mori’ lose its variegations.  ‘Mai mori’ means “the dancing forest”.
