‘Orion’ is a dwarf shrubby maple with a rounded form. Its tiny leaves are a coppery-red with prominent veins. Fall color is orange. ‘Orion’ was found as a witches’ broom in Pennsylvania by Dick Wolff of Red Maple Nursery. ‘Orion’ grows to 3 feet in ten years, and would make a wonderfull addition to any small garden or bonsai.
