‘Rainbow’ has excellent spring interest with leaves emerging red with a reddish pink variegation. Fall color is a stunning deep red. ‘Rainbow’ is another Buchholz introduction. It may reach 8 ft. in ten years and needs protection from sun. Branches without variegation should be pruned.
