Acer palmatum Seiryu

‘Seiryu’ is a unique lace-leaf upright tree with a vase-like shape.  Its leaves emerge in spring a lovely green tinged with red.  This green color lasts all summer and turns gold, red, and orange in fall.  The upright growth is quite energetic and may reach 12 feet in 10 years.  The name ‘Seiryu’ translates to “blue-green dragon”.
