Acer palmatum Shishio hime

‘Shishio hime’ is a low growing shrub that grows wider than tall (1-1/2 feet in ten years).  Leaves emerge a light green with red edges, turning a darker green for summer.  Fall colors are bright yellow and gold.  This dense, vigorous dwarf maple is ideal for small gardens or bonsai culture.
