Acer palmatum Komachi hime

‘Komachi hime’ is a rounded dwarf maple that has yellow-green leaves with red margins in spring.  In summer these margins fade, giving way to green leaves.  ‘Komachi hime’ means “beautiful little girl.”  This beauty only grows to 2 feet in ten years, making it excellent for bonsai culture or small gardens.
