Acer palmatum Katja

‘Katja’ is a colorful maple that starts off with coppery bronze leaves on a red stalk in spring.  Soon the leaves turn yellow with a red margin before quickly changing to green with red margins.  Fall color is a reddish-orange.  This small-leafed tree is perfect for bonsai culture or small gardens, only growing to 7 feet in ten years.
