Acer palmatum Masu kagami

‘Masu kagami’ is a subtly variegated maple.  Leaves emerge crimson or pink in spring.  Its leaves are finely dotted with white or yellow, sometimes making the entire leaf appear pale.  ‘Masu kagami’ needs protection from sun and wind.  This rare cultivar may reach 8 feet in ten years.
