‘Shigarami’ has star-shaped leaves which emerge green in spring with light purple tips. In summer, the leaves are green. Fall colors are yellows, oranges, and reds. The name ‘Shigarami’ means “posts in a river to which boats are tied.” Its mature height is 12 feet in ten years.
