Acer palmatum Ariadne

'Ariadne' was introduced by Firma C. Esveld of Netherlands.  It is named after one of D.M. van Gelderen's granddaughters.  Leaves emerge with light yellow-green veining on a orange-pink-red marbled palette.  Summer color is a purplish-red background with red veining.  In fall, the orange-pink-red marbling returns with yellow-green veining.  This colorful maple will grow to 10 feet making it a perfect specimen in any shade garden.
