Acer palmatum Aratama

‘Aratama’ is a dwarf maple that only grows to 5 feet.  It leaves are brick red on a green base giving it a two-toned appearance.  The green color comes out in summer, changing to yellow, orange, and red in fall.  ‘Aratama’ can take full sun well.  It is one of the first to emerge in spring.
