‘Hoshi kuzu’ is my favorite light green on green variegated maple. The name, meaning “star-studded sky”, refers to the small star-shaped leaves. Found at Maplewood Nursery as a seedling of ‘Kamagata’ and named in 1987. May reach 8 feet in ten years.
