Acer palmatum Koto no ito

‘Koto no ito’, which means “golden old harp”, has narrow, straplike leaves that unfold crimson and quickly turn green for the season.  Fall colors are yellow and sometimes red.  Sometimes the new growth displays palmatum leaves, but the following years will be linearilobum.
