Acer palmatum Orange Dream

‘Orange Dream’ emerges a fresh orange in spring, quickly changing to a yellow-green then light green for the summer.  Fall color is a bright yellow-gold.  This highly desirable cultivar was introduced in the late 1980’s by Fratelli Gilardelli Nursery, Italy.  Its growth habit is an upright bushy shrub reaching 10 feet in ten years.  ‘Orange Dream’ does best in partial shade.
