Acer palmatum Sango kaku

‘Sango kaku’ is a popular maple with leaves emerging a light yellow-green with red margins.  Summer color is green and back to yellow and apricot in fall.  The name means “coral tower” refers to its reddish bark which makes an excellent focal point in winter.
