‘O sakazuki’ has green leaves for most of the growing season. Its spectacular display comes in fall when the leaves turn an intense crimson. ‘O sakazuki’ means “leaf like a saki cup” which refers to the leaves that appear to “cup” at the base. This tree can grow to 20 feet in ten years.
